I have had a lifelong fascination with the camera

lens and how it projects images so different from

those we see with our own eyes. I worked with

large and medium format cameras using

traditional black & white printing techniques and

the Polaroid process for 40 years before switching

to digital imaging 8 years ago. The chemical

process for silver based film still seems magical!

Using the digital technology has allowed me to

expand my interest in photomontages and manipulated

photomontages as well as abandoning the darkroom. While I am

still fascinated by both black & white images and small print sizes,

neither of these are typical of my current images.
