Since the late ‘70’s I have drawn on a lifelong passion for storytelling and art history in my profession as figurative sculptor working in the plastic medium of clay. Currently, my work has taken on an additional dimension of color through the introduction of collage -- a method of enhancing the story-telling aspect of my work. My art has been exhibited in New York City, Philadelphia and Washington, DC as well as in the upstate region of New York where I reside with my husband David – a photographer – and Bailey, our Old English Sheepdog. In addition to being a working artist for many years I have also been an independent curator providing services to the Windsor Whip Works Art Center and Gallery in Windsor, New York.
